Maya the Paya turns dos

She's fire and ice, this girl...
She can be dainty and then totally go after it...
It's her birthday and it's at the carousel
and she's got a ticket to ride
Carousels are timeless really
I mean nothing has changed much
They still go round and round and most of the horses go up and down
Every kid wants to ride them more than once
and when you are on them you get to be a kid again
"hi, hi, hi"
Henry loves it
Even big kids can ride
The horse did not want to let go of Will
Will & Aunt Kelsey
naannie nannie naaaannie
Birthday Cake time!
First, Maya started singing to herself before we could sing to her
and her song must have been over before ours was, because
she blew out her candle before we were done singing...
and she thought this was hilarious!

What did she get?
Stay Brown! Jeeeerrrrryyyy
Interesting picture...I am really not kicking the baby
Yes Juanro, pink IS your color
Henry, front and center

Happy Carousel Birthday Miss Maya

4 from Arizona 2 Oregon--Day 3-final day-the zoo

Sadly, our family had to leave,
but before they left we went to the
The bears were out in full force
I do not usually take pictures of animals, but I couldn't resist
this sweety
bump on a log

this is Tara's "purdy" smile

Will learned to mooo on this trip
Saddle up cousins

Ride like the wind!
the Henry girls do not like barn animals, we prefer to hang out outside of the barn

gettin' back to their roots

get 'em Will
not often that one gets to ride a dinosaur

This is Zane in a nutshell
Friendly, likes his alone time, independent, proud of his job
so stinkin cute
Good thing Zane didn't need to be held
I can be a Lion too

Henry would rather be eaten by a Lion then see he cousins leave
Only regret...not getting Zach a lucky penny.
Next time.

4 from Arizona 2 Oregon--Day Two--Cousins at the Beach

I love these people
Amazing, not a cloud in the sky day
beautiful sisters

Will got to experience sand in his toes

Hopefully the only alligator and shark we will see today
Boys were having an absolute blast
Happy Boy
He is used to just going into bodies of water with his whole body...
so this was inevitable
Zane was kinda bummed at first
What? I can take off my shirt?
"Why do I still have a shirt on," says Henry
Be Free

The sharks do not attack this boy because either
1. he blinds them with his body
2. the sharks think he is the sun
Does anyone ever...
...these boys
I like this picture because of Henry's pasty skin
and Liz's most beautiful hair

This made me grumpy
Sand makes me grumpy and then you add in a thousand steep stairs and I am
I think the beach in general, though, was so fun for the boys.
I do wish I would have been more prepared.
It seems the spontaneous events become the most special events.
