That's the Pits

Who gets to do things like this?

Exploring this new world

Pretty in Pink

I'd rather play with this sword

Henry-boy going for it again...gotta love Young Life Properties

Good times.  I am still pulling foam out of their socks.

SLIDE PARK

Come on this way Henry...it is incredible
whoa

SLIDE!

Henry and his sliding sister

Will taking it all in
(College Work Week in the background)

Taking this big of risks is not always Henry's cup of tea, but with Lily by his side--he could do anything

Slide race

love them

mom, help

Here I go mom

so thankful for these kids
The skate park at in the Canyon's Sports Center is every skaters DREAM
and every child's SLIDE HEAVEN.
We went back the next day...major score!
Although, I have had a love/hate relationship with these bronze people, Henry and Will LOVED them. I wish I had a video camera.  It was hilarious.  I think Will may have thought they were real people.  Henry had a conversation with the boy holding the book and when Henry spoke for the statue it sounded like, "Welllcome to Wiiiildhorse," said in a horse voice.
Henry being a statue

he did this all on his own

so serious

Will meeting the statue for the first time

look at Henry's proud face

I really do think he thought they were real

Henry said, "I am a frog statue"  okay son

see what I am saying

he kept saying, "hi, hi"

"pound...pound"
These things always happen to me.

Go Faster Mommy

I adore him
We drove from our house to the Canyon Cars. (took us 4.5 hours)

Just cruising along

Lily's first of many moments to watch over Will

It looks like I am driving fast...

I am not sure how many times Andy lapped me, but this is one of them

Are these guys laughing at me?
Ridge Runners, Go Carts, Canyon Cars...whatever they are called, I do not like them.  Never have--never will.  But this was an opportunity to make memories with Henry.  I think he had fun, even if I was a grandma driver (always have been--always will be).  Thank you Lisa and Andy for working/living here.

Wide Open Spaces

Wide Open Spaces is what I longed for this Spring Break...
miles of space to slide at the skate park

Will enamored by this gigantic playground

the backyard space

Creekside--Henry was blown out of the water (not literally)

look how little they are compared to the monstrosity of this place

this is one of the reasons we came here--so Will could run and run and run

the Will to run

Will ran so far away from me on the soccer fields that he actually scared himself...FINALLY

Lisa & Lily flying a kite
(Lisa, I think you look skinny--I cannot remember the other criteria, but think I followed it)

Everything these boys did ended up having something to do with superheroes

Will thought he walked on water
(what a back drop)

Beautiful Lily Lou
I got it and a whole lot more...
I remember when these trees were Henry's size
As I sit here sore and tired, I feel thankful to have a friend who makes everywhere she lives a blessing.  The boys made memories that will continue to be cultivated as we come back as often as we can to visit our friends and this ridiculously incredible property they serve and inhabit.  Love you guys, the car ride was sooooooooooooooooooo worth it!
